SKŁADNIKI
375g mąki chlebowej
5g suszonych drożdży
2 łyżeczki cukru
1 łyżeczka soli
240ml letniej wody
1 łyżeczka sody oczyszczonej
WKONANIE
Mąkę przełożyć do miski, dodać drożdże, cukier i sól. Dodaj 3/4 wody i wyrób ciasto. Dodawaj po trochu pozostałą wodę, aż cała mąka się połączy. Ciasto wyłóż na posypaną mąką powierzchnię i zagniataj przez ok 10min, aż będzie gładkie. Przełóż do miski, przykryj ściereczką i pozostaw do wyrośnięcia na ok 1godz
Po wyrośnięciu podziel na 8 kulek, uformuj
JAK FORMOWAĆ?
Przełóż palec przez środek kulki ciasta, a następnie palcami poszerz otwór do ok 5cm. Bajgle nie muszą być idealne😂
Uformowane bajgle przykryć i odstawić na 20min, aż wyrosną
Zagotuj wodę w dużym garnku, dodaj sodę. Zanurz bułeczki (2-3 szt na raz) we wrzącej wodzie. Gotuj przez 30sek z każdej strony. Odcedź i przełóż na blachę do pieczenia.
Piec w rozgrzanym piekarniku - 180°C/25–30min

INGREDIENTS
375g strong white bread flour
5g fast-action dried yeast
2 tsp caster sugar
1 tsp fine salt
240ml lukewarm water
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
METHOD
Place the flour yeast, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl. Add 3/4 of the water and mix. Add the remaining water, a little at a time, until all the flour is incorporated.
Tip the dough onto a lightly floured work surface and knead for 10 min, to a smooth ball.
Place in a bowl, cover with a tea towel, leave to rise for about 1h
After dough has risen divide it into 8 balls; shape
HOW TO SHAPE?
Poke your finger through the center of the ball, then widen the hole to 5cm. Bagels don’t need to be perfect!
Cover the bagels & leave to prove for 20 minutes
Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil, add soda. Plunge the bagels (2-3 at a time) cook for 30sec on each side. Drain and place on the baking sheet.
Bake the bagels in preheated oven 180°C/ 25–30 min
